A number of organisations are attempting to bridge the information and behavioural gap between companies and consumers by providing sustainability ratings. These company and/ or product ratings are compiled and made available through a range of new tools, including social networks, mobile barcode scanning and crowd sourcing platforms.
In the dialogue forum we discussed current status and future outlook of the emerging sustainability ranking market with many of the pioneers, including Niels Oskam from Rank a Brand, Friedrich Petry from Brandoscope, Melanie Weber-Moritz from VERBRAUCHER INITIATIVE, Christian Dietsche from iöw/ future ranking, Jens Sander from companize, Dara O'Rourke from GoodGuide and Maurice Stanszus from WeGreen.
